FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you deliver to the ceremony and reception site?

Yes, a trained florist will deliver and set up any item you order, and we can travel within a 1 hour radius of Fort Wayne.

When will you deliver my wedding flowers?

Rose’s Bouquets will schedule your delivery based on your formal photo start time prior to the ceremony.  Since we are managing fresh flowers, the later we arrive with your designs, the better!  Ideally flowers will arrive no earlier than 2 hours prior to the ceremony, but exceptions are made based on photo needs and other circumstances.  Reception delivery (if at a different venue than the ceremony) is scheduled based on open venue times and your ceremony delivery needs.

Will a florist come to my ceremony to pin my corsages and boutonnières?

Rose’s Bouquets will gladly pin your corsages and boutonnières when your bridal and bridesmaids bouquets are delivered.

When should I book my florist?

Once you have chosen a wedding date and a color scheme for your ceremony, you should consider floral options. Rose’s Bouquets books weddings as much as 18 months before the date, and since we limit the number of weddings we service per weekend, you will want to book your florist as soon as possible. Most brides book Rose’s Bouquets’ services 9 to 12 months before their wedding date.

How much should I budget for my wedding flowers?

That depends on how important your ceremony and reception flowers are to you, especially compared to the other elements in your ceremony, ie: location, music, caterer, photographer. Rose’s Bouquet’s couples spend an average of $3000 per package, but floral budgets can range from $1000-$10000.

Where do consultations take place?

We prefer virtual consultations, but can provide an in-person meeting in a dedicated space showcasing our designs and rental items if requested.

When can I schedule my consultation?

Rose’s Bouquets will accommodate your schedule as much as possible, but remember that weekends are our busiest time, so mid-week, daytime appointments are preferred.

Can my mom participate in my consultation?

Rose’s Bouquets always welcomes moms, sisters, bridesmaids, or fiancée to attend your consultation. However, keep in mind that the more people involved, the more opinions you will be given, and the more confusing it can get!

How long will my consultation last?

A typical initial consultation takes about an hour.

Should I provide anything prior to my consultation?

Yes. Please provide a photo of your bridal and bridesmaids gowns, along with a swatch of the bridesmaids’ dresses if it is a difficult color to match. A list of corsage and boutonniere recipients can also be helpful. Most importantly, don’t forget pictures of your favorite floral arrangements.

Can I DIY some of my flowers and have you provide some as well?

Rose’s Bouquets has an exclusivity policy so we ask that we manage all of your florals for design consistency.

How many weddings do you book per year?

On average, we service 65 weddings each year.

Do you design using artificial flowers?

Rose’s Bouquets considers fresh flowers to be preferred to even the highest quality silk flowers.  There is nothing like the smell, feel, and beauty of fresh flowers!  Because of this, we do not offer artificial arrangements.

What eco-friendly policies do you have?

Rose’s Bouquets composts all organic waste through our local composter, Dirt Wain. We also recycle all eligible plastics and paper waste, and provide compostable plastic bags for take home flowers during rental pick ups. And whenever possible, we use compostable flower foam products.
